The browser variant remains directly retrievable at its existing filename but is intentionally not promoted with a download control while its removal versus rebuild is being decided.
Known security limitations
- Both executable files are unsigned, so Windows cannot verify a publisher or trusted release identity.
- Both archives bundle OpenSSL 1.0.1f from 2014 and old Qt/Visual C++ runtime components. OpenSSL 1.0.1 is unsupported, and 1.0.1f predates a critical memory-disclosure fix.
- The tools request sensitive email app passwords and optionally proxy credentials despite using this obsolete client stack.
- No matching source, dependency manifest, reproducible build, release notes, or supported update path is available here.
Privacy
Do not enter an inbox password, app password, proxy credential, account list, or other personal information into either artifact. Their complete behavior cannot be verified from reviewed source. See the site-wide privacy notice for hosted services; it does not make these legacy executables safe.
Archived configuration summary
The original interface accepted a catchall domain or email list, IMAP host and credentials, optional proxy configuration, a thread count, an account target, and a failure limit. This summary is retained only to identify the artifact’s data exposure; it is not usage guidance.
Support and reporting
No usage support is offered. To report a security concern, follow the security reporting guidance or email [email protected] without attaching credentials or private datasets.
